How much water should we be drinking?
I googled it. Now we all know we have to be very careful about where we find information & what info we actually believe right? Anyone can write anything online so it is important to be very discerning about what we believe. In regard to the amount of water we should be drinking every day there are so many opinions. I am not a nutritionist or a medical person in any way! So, I have no idea really.
But, here is what I found on the Mayo Clinic site: The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is: About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men. About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women. Here is a link to that information
There is also the theory that one should just drink when thirsty & not worry about it!
I was thinking about this because I am pretty sure I do not drink enough during the day & I wanted to see what the recommendations are. I have found a great little water bottle that I can use with my soda stream so I can have my personal bottle of sparkling water! I love it. You can find it on Amazon or I think I got mine at London Drugs. Just look for Soda Stream Bottles on Amazon if you want to buy it there. I have the one that says MY ONLY BOTTLE. Here is a picture of my water bottle
Enough of that!
